Malware Strikes Again

Posted By Pete at 11:50 AM, February 26, 2009

keylogger.png Just last week I talked about how millions of our credit numbers may have been potentially leaked. Well, it looks like they did it again. And as with the previous incident, the main culprit was malware. At this rate, PCI-Compliant or not, something drastic will need to be done or they will take down the entire credit card infrastructure sooner or later. What concerns me the most is that these incidents are only reported because the malware residing in those systems were discovered. My gut feeling is that this is only the tip of the iceberg and that there are a more we just haven't heard about yet. Stay tuned.
