This malicious program exploits vulnerability CVE-2007-3040.
Remote exploitation of a stack based buffer overflow vulnerability in Microsoft Corp's Microsoft Windows 2000 Agent service could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the logged in user.The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the Microsoft Agent ActiveX control (agentdpv.dll) with the CLSID:D45FD31B-5C6E-11D1-9EC1-00C04FD7081F when handling specially crafted URLs passed as argument to a certain unspecified method.
